I know, I couldn’t believe it either! A FREE fantasy book?! AND it’s good?! Yes. Yes, it’s excellent and so much more than I imagined. 5 STAR WORTHY.
Lucille Moncrief takes us back in time, before Nefarious, with this prequel, Hannibal Steele and The Bone Elixir. It’s a quick steam punk fantasy read, but it’s oh-so-telling on what you’ll find within the Nefarious Series.
As always, Lucille’s writing style is perfect – as if it’s from another time period, yet so deliciously descriptive. I could feel everything she described, smelled the scents surrounding the main character, and felt as though I walked beside him as he fought to save the one he loved.
I don’t read often anymore, but I’m SO glad I found some time to pick this one up!
